Students took on a hands-on economic development and city planning project, working together to make decisions about the future growth and development of a community. They then presented their plans—and, most importantly, the reasoning behind their decisions—to members of the City Council.
This experience gave our students the opportunity to think critically, collaborate, problem-solve, consider the needs of a community, and confidently communicate their ideas to local leaders.
We are so proud of the way these young leaders stepped up, shared their voices, and demonstrated that the leaders of tomorrow are already learning how to make an impact today! 👏🏼🏙️

Make plans to join us for Greenland FFA's Annual Fish Fry this Saturday, October 3, in the Ag building.
$10 a plate gets you US farm raised catfish, fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw, a cookie, and a drink.
All proceeds go to help Greenland FFA students travel to Indianapolis next month for the FFA National Convention. The FFA National Convention is the largest student conference in the nation and we are excited to allow our students this opportunity.
